Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor, is well-known for her roles in film and on television since the mid 1980s. The actress has won numerous accolades including the Golden Globe Award as well as 16 NAACP Image Awards. In the last decade Angela Evelyn has appeared in television and film. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth in New York New York, is an acclaimed actress. Bassett when she was in high school, saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she decided to become an actress. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American studies) in 1980. The Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main characters in the film Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
